Connells takes over other agents’ listings

The UK’s second largest group of estate agents, Connells, has revealed that it has taken on listings from other agents who are shutting down and sharing commission with them when the property is eventually sold.
Connells includes Sequence, William H Brown,Fox & Sons, and Barnard Marcus
Group commercial director Adrian Gill said that in the last few months, the Connells Group has come to mutually beneficial arrangements with several estate agency owners who are no longer able, or want to, remain trading.
In return for taking over existing properties on their books, Connells have agreed to pay a proportion of the fees to the former owners on completion of the sale.  “This arrangement gives them an exit route and, by dealing with an estate agency group diverse enough to weather these stormy times, they are guaranteed a percentage of the fees on those instructions they worked hard to obtain,” said Gill.  “If anyone thinks this arrangement might work for them and would like to find out more, please give me a call.”
Gill can be reached on 01525 218531.”
